Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2026-10-09.

1. Scope

CutoutClip takes a video you upload and returns the same footage with the background removed, using an AI segmentation model (VEED video background removal, run on fal.ai). It does not create new people, faces, voices or scenes, and it does not take text prompts. This policy covers the videos you upload and the results we return.

2. Prohibited content

Do not upload, or use our results for, any of the following:

  1. Pornography and sexual content (NSFW).
  2. Violence and gore, including real injuries or cruelty.
  3. Hate speech or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
  4. Child-unsafe content: any sexual content involving minors (CSAM) or content that endangers children.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation: using a result to deceive people about who someone is or what they did, or to place a real person in a scene without their consent.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement: footage you do not own or have permission to use.

Zero tolerance

CSAM, content promoting terrorism or mass violence, and non-consensual intimate imagery of real people lead to immediate deletion, a permanent block and, where the law requires it, a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or law enforcement.

Consent

Upload only footage of yourself or of people who agreed to it.
