Pay per video background removal: what one clip costs

At CutoutClip, a clip of up to 10 seconds is free, and a clip from 10 seconds to 2 minutes costs $4.99 once, with no account and no subscription. A 90-second talking-head video to transparent WebM is $4.99 total. Other tools sell credit packs instead; the table below shows what each would ask you to pay for the same clip.

    120 s$4.99about $2.50 ($4.99 / 2 min = $2.495)

The price is flat, so short clips cost more per second than long ones. For a clip only slightly over 10 seconds, a credit pack elsewhere can cost less per second, and free tools exist (see below). The default result is a transparent WebM with the original audio; ProRes 4444 MOV covers the first 60 seconds of the clip, and extra formats are included in the price.

These tools sell credits by the second. A pack is a minimum you must pay; the per-second rate only tells you how far it stretches. All figures are from each tool's own pricing page, fetched on 2026-10-10, for a 30 fps clip. Check their sites for current prices.

Two numbers per cell. First, the cash you must pay today for the smallest listed pack that covers the clip. Second (in brackets), the share of that pack the clip uses at its listed rate: our arithmetic, not a price. Pack credits are stated not to expire on these sites, so unused credit stays yours.

Remove Background From Video $3.99 / 200 credits at 2 credits per second = $0.0399 per second. A 60 fps clip

Among the pages we read, only VideoBGRemover states a frame-rate multiplier: its credits are 1x up to 30 fps and 2x for 31 to 60 fps, so a 60-second clip at 60 fps is 120 credits, $9.60 at the $4.80 per minute rate, instead of $4.80. The other four pricing pages do not state one, so ask them before paying. CutoutClip charges $4.99 either way, but one payment covers up to 3,600 frames: 2 minutes at 30 fps or 1 minute at 60 fps. For a longer 60 fps clip you choose before paying: convert the whole clip to 30 fps, or keep 60 fps and process the first 3,600 frames. Free clips above 30 fps are processed at 30 fps.

    Which option fits which clip

    How paying works here

    1. Upload an MP4 or MOV (up to 500 MB). No account.
    2. Optional: run the free preview of the first 5 seconds. It uses one of your 3 free clips that day.
    3. If the clip is longer than 10 seconds, pay $4.99 once. If processing fails, you get an automatic full refund; dissatisfaction with a cutout is not covered, so use the preview first.
    4. Download the transparent WebM, or other formats from the same result (up to 12 exports per clip).

Paid files are kept for 7 days after payment, free ones for 24 hours, and "Delete now" removes a file immediately. More detail: pricing, transparent video, samples, compare tools, all guides. Prices of other tools in this page were checked on 2026-10-10 or 2026-10-10; they change.

    FAQ

What is the cheapest way to remove a video background, pay per video?

It depends on clip length and how many clips you have. Up to 10 seconds, CutoutClip is free. For one clip of 11 seconds to 2 minutes, CutoutClip costs $4.99 flat. For very short or many clips, a credit pack elsewhere can cost less per clip. The tables above show the arithmetic.

What will a 90-second talking-head video cost for a transparent WebM?

At CutoutClip, $4.99 once, with no account. That is $3.33 per minute. At the credit tools we checked, the smallest pack that covers 90 seconds at 30 fps is $10 at VideoBGRemover or $12.99 at ExportAlpha; the others state per-clip limits under 90 seconds.

Can I remove a video background without signing up and pay for one finished video?

Yes at CutoutClip: there is no account, you pay $4.99 for one video, and recent clips are listed in the same browser with a private link. Some other tools say credits are used from an account or that you sign in to buy.

Which tools charge extra for a 60 fps video?

Of the pricing pages we read on 2026-10-10, VideoBGRemover states a multiplier of 2x credits for 31 to 60 fps. The others do not state one. CutoutClip charges the same $4.99, but one payment covers up to 3,600 frames, which is 1 minute at 60 fps.

Is the $4.99 price per minute or per video?

Per video, for any clip over 10 seconds up to 2 minutes. A 30-second clip works out to $9.98 per minute and a 2-minute clip to about $2.50 per minute.

How long are my files kept after I pay?

Paid uploads and results are deleted 7 days after payment; free ones after 24 hours. You can use "Delete now" at any time.
